Private Workshops

Team-building? Holiday-partying?

Just want to make aromatic candles and diffusers with your favourite people while eating snacks and drinking wine? We got you.

We offer private workshop bookings for you and your group of up to 30! Bring your own food and drinks, bring your people and book our beautiful space for 3 hours (2 hours of workshop, 1 hour of mingling). We’ve got all the dishes and glassware and pricing includes set up and clean up.

What's Included & Pricing

Private bookings operate on a tiered pricing list:

• 6 - 10 participants = $130 per person

• 11 - 14 participants = $120 per person

• 15 - 20 participants = $110 per person

· 21 - 30 participants = $95 per person (this workshop is a single candle-making session to ensure enough space for larger groups)

The Candle & Diffuser Making 101 workshop is our standard offering for private bookings. We are also excited to now offer 3 new classes depending on your needs! (everyone needs a drag queen)

Our times vary to fit your event, whether you would like a bright and airy daytime class while enjoying mimosas, or a low-lit evening class with lively music and wine, it is up to you!

We run classes for a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 20

Would you like to bring food?

Foods must come from a food establishment that holds a current food handling permit from ahs, or is a licensed from a government agency such as the Canadian food inspection agency

Workshop Booking Policies

Just a little fine print

To confirm a Private workshop date, 50% of the total workshop fee is due upon receipt of the invoice. The remaining 50% is due within 30 days of the initiated invoice date. You have a 30-day window from the time of booking to adjust the number of attendees on the invoice before the final payment is due. Any adjustments to the number of attendees must be made at least three days before the scheduled workshop by emailing bookings@milkjar.ca and paying the additional fees upon receipt.

All workshop sessions require a minimum of 6 participants. If the number of attendees drops below 6 without prior notice 7 days before the private workshop, you will be charged for a minimum of 6 participants.
